Waggas, you raise some important points here. The scientists just like you answer the questions on the board. This is an interactive board with all the participants mutually and freely exchanging ideas, knowledge and resources.

My personal opinion is that the board is gaining momentum and there are many networking features here which are being under-utilized. The nature of online social networking is very similar to real-world networking. You talk, find common interests, establish connections, seek help and HELP OTHERS. Helping other scientists is one of the most important part of this interaction because that's how your questions will be answered. I would strongly recommend being active in the "chat" and adding "fellow scientists" on your bench-space profile, to interact more closely with others on this board.

Also, invite your other scientist friends to the board. Expertise in some areas is under-represented and bringing in more resources will be helpful to all the scientists.

Feel free to suggest improvements and your thoughts on how to maximize the benefit of this board.

And I see that many of the questions you asked on this forum have been answered. For the remaining questions you may try further clarifying the the question, which will not only draw people's attention by highlighting the newer question on the board but also make others understand the problem better.

I agree that this is a unique forum for interaction between scientists and now that you have found it, make the most of it!

In addition to what I mentioned above about renewing/editing your questions and closer networking by chat, and adding fellow scientists; you can also increase your visibility and contribution by answering unanswered questions on the main page or follow:

This forum is big resource for us scientists and I look forward to your continuing active participation here.
