Hi folks !

any protein-protecting group specialist out there , or anyone who worked with FMOC /CBZ (Benzylchloroformate) -protecting group can help me ?

I want to benzylate the free amines of a peptide , and i'm thinking about using Benzylchloroformate & Base (maybe DIPEA (DIEA) ...... and now the question :

Can CBZ be kicked by 20% Piperidine ? ( i dont think so ? )

thx.

I am not an expert. No to your question.
H2/Pd is mostly used.
Strong acid would do too-HBr/HOAC mixture.
