By now many of you have already seen the "Scientists for Better PCR" video from Bio-Rad. You may also have seen the equally clever home made video hosted at http://www.nanodrop.com

These two examples of creativity combined with a little "science humor" have inspired us to hold our own video contest!

More than 3,000 members of The Science Advisory Board have already participated in a recent study to understand which technologies and techniques are used most widely, and which suppliers have the most exceptional products and services in each area.

We've been asking the participating scientists to help us understand their choice of best vendor in different areas of research by submitting a short video clip, approximately 30 seconds in length, in which you present your best vendor to The SAB. Your clip can be serious or lighthearted and you can get your whole lab involved! Best of all the winning entry will be awarded a $1,000 prize. (Please keep in mind that if you would like to submit a video clip, you must participate in the study and you must be a registered member of The Science Advisory Board).

The deadline for video submissions is April 18, 2008.

If you'd like more details or have any questions please email us at questions@scienceboard.net.
