RTS Life Science to Exhibit and Host Workshop at SBS 2008

Manchester, UK (March 10 2008). RTS Life Science, a worldwide supplier of
automated sample management and drug delivery testing systems, today
announces that it will exhibit and host a half day workshop at the SBS 14th
Annual Conference & Exhibition, St. Louis, MO, April 6-10, 2008 (Society for
Biomolecular Screening). RTS Life Science will also present two posters at
SBS 2008.

The workshop entitled 'RTS Libradexx, A New, Flexible Approach to Compound
Library Management using Acoustic Dispensing Technology,' will be co-hosted
by Labcyte Inc. and will feature a system supplied to GlaxoSmithKline.
There have long been discussions regarding the benefits of large integrated
systems against a workstation approach; RTS' Libradexx is an integrated
software and hardware solution that uses the Labcyte Echo in such a way as
to combine the benefits of the two. During the session we will discuss how
this innovative, semi-automated sample storage solution was developed and is
being used by GlaxoSmithKline. The workshop will take place on Sunday 6th
April, 1.30-4.30pm in room 241.

In addition to the workshop, RTS Life Science will unveil two posters at SBS
2008. 'A New Paradigm in Sample Library Management and Replication,' will be
presented by Julio Maher, Chris Walsh, Philip Cummings, David Harding and
Claire Ridgway of RTS. This detailed poster discusses how RTS has partnered
with a major pharmaceutical company to challenge the current accepted models
for compound management, in particular, the increasing use of the Labcyte
Echo 550/555 liquid handler by Sample Management and HTS professionals. The
other poster entitled, 'Storage Solutions: New Technologies, New
Applications,' by Dr Simon Sheard, David Harding and Chris Walsh, outlines
the current state of compound storage in the pharmaceutical industry. In
particular, this poster presents an insight into the future demands of
sample management for drug discovery applications.

With 25 years of experience delivering automation solutions, RTS Life
Science is a major supplier of large scale sample storage and testing within
the laboratory environment. Its market encompasses drug discovery
applications within pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, covering
medical research, clinical trials and manufacturing applications. RTS Life
Science offers systems and solutuions for sample storage and retrieval,
