Qualifications:
A self-motivated team player with experience performing laboratory tests, preferably in a GLP/GMP or a clinical laboratory environment. The candidate must possess excellent pipetting skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in tissue culture, flow cytometry, viral assays, ELISAs, Luminex assays and molecular techniques (PCR). The candidate must have demonstrated computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include producing, summarizing, reviewing and analyzing data, sample/reagent preparation, maintaining lab equipment, and log book documentation. He/she must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present scientific data and conclusions at lab and department meetings. The position also requires proficiency in writing and following SOPs, strong computer skills, (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are a prerequisite.
This position is being posted as Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. However the individual may be required to work a regular schedule of adjusted start and end times. For example they may be required to work 11:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday if necessary as their regular work hours.
