Qualifications:
ü Excellent pipetting skills and attention to detail.
ü Performance of laboratory tests preferably in a regulated, industrial, or a hospital/reference laboratory environment with emphasis on documentation.
ü Ability to communicate well and work well with others in a team environment.
ü Ability to perform and troubleshoot ELISA techniques.
ü Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Training provided to meet complexity of job tasks and responsibilities.
ü Must be able to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced team environment. Supervision provided during training with the expectation that the individual is self-motivated and can achieve a level of independence appropriate to background and responsibilities.
ü Teamwork is essential for group success in meeting goals.
Responsibilities:
ü Running clinical samples various assays, including ELISAs, RIAs to support vaccine clinical trials required to thoroughly documenting assays and experiments according to SOPs
ü Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out research on assigned research problems contributing to the attainment of a defined research objective.
ü The problems assigned are normally short range in terms of time required for solution.
ü Technical Writer can write scientific experimental write-ups with minimal guidance
ü IBM PC knowledge of PC, including Word and Excel
