I need help! one of my colleagues has to increase the activity of a mould strain, that produces A-amilase. I'll be very hapy if u can help me :-)

Am not experienced in using this technique personally
but I know one way is by producing mutants with the use of uv light. Gamma ray or chemically induced mutants are other approaches.

u have 2 options: 1) optimize the culture conditions, which includes induction with substrate, etc. 2) make mutants by treating with UV light, etc.
