Position Details:
Title Clinical Publications Associate
Location Wilmington, DE

Full Requirement:
Client is looking for a candidate having background as an editor for a publication company (or agency).
The emphasis should be on style/grammar editing and fact checking. The individual should be very familiar with the AMA style guide. This should be the individuals main area of interest.
Experience in editing (i.e., copyediting, proofreading, fact checking) medical publications, including manuscripts (journal articles), abstracts, posters, and slide sets.
Familiarity with American Medical Association (AMA) style
Highly organized
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, deadline-driven projects simultaneously
Previous medical publishing experience as a Journal Production Editor a plus

Job Responsibilities:
Provide medical communication capability in the production and timely submission of technical documentation (including manuscripts and scientific meeting deliverables [abstracts and posters]) across the product life cycle to develop and sustain competitive clients products.
The scope of the major responsibilities will vary with the level of expertise and experience.
Major Responsibilities:
Manages operational aspects of the process for delivery of publication deliverables
Provides expert copyediting for publication deliverables
Contributes to the preparation of manuscripts, conference materials and other communication pieces that persuasively convey product information to the medical community to support commercial goals
Advocates compliance with internal and external guidelines, eg, clients Publications Policy, ICH Guidelines, Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts (Vancouver Guidelines).

Degree Bachelors Degree
Experience 2 Yrs of Exp.
