A relateively new technology trend that is being marketed by Sartorius (www.sartorius.com) is membrane adsorption. The product is called "Sartobind Q"., and the operation principle consists of a single pass of process fluid through a cellulosic, microporous membrane with a 3-5 micron diameter pore size rating and containing quaternary ammonium ligands covalently bound to the membrane. These ligands emove contaminants and viruses.
A company called : Vivascience has a kit for adenovirus purification. Check www.vivascience.com
