Hey I am currently working in a biopharmacuetical lab which requires daily wfi sampling. Currently we Collect 250 ml for the microbial test, 125 for LAL and 40 for TOC. I am responsible for testing the 250 ml microbial water. As of right now we filter 100ml onto a 2um filter and place it onto TSA and MacConkey Agar. Does anyone know of a more cost effective means to do daily wfi sampling?

Im replying to my own message. However, I did find this one company called Pallchek Rapid Microbiology System. The system is able to produce results within 24 hours. However, I havent found to much validation work done on it, and it cost about $4 a test. Which is not too much more then our current method. The initial cost is almost $20,000 as well, which makes it hard to get approved. Does any one have experience with this product? Any other suggestions to cheaper WFI sampling.
