I have two queries regarding screening for mutations leading to Imatinib resistance in CML nonresponder patients.
First I wants to know whethere there are any database available for ABL kinase domain mutations for Imatinib drug resistance?
If we get unknown amino acid chain in Imatinib nonresonder patient and that change is not yet reported as muatation nor it is classify as SNPs in ABL SNP databse? Whether we can consider this amino acid change as muatations?

I found answers to your questions in this review paper :

At least 73 different point mutations leading to substitution of 50 amino acids in the Abl kinase domain have been isolated from CML patients resistant to imatinib so far, and this number is likely to increase with more sensitive methods of detection:



Your second question seems to hint that you have discovered a novel Imatinib resistance mutation! Check the latest literature to find more known Imatinib resistance mutations.It will be a great contribution if the amino acid change you are talking about has not been reported.
