Here's a work-around from the old days...

Cut out your DNA band as small as you can and put it into a small piece of the appropriate dialysis tubing, with buffer, weighted down.

Put into a gel box with your buffer and run it for 5-10 minutes. If you have already stained the DNA with Sybr gold or EthBr, you should see it on the inside of the tubing via UV light.

Carefully remove the slice and wash the DNA off the inside of the tubing into an eppy tube with a pipetperson.

Concentrate by your favorite method.
