I'm studying the effect of PHA on peripheral blood lymphocytes with respect to UV induced apoptosis. Any suggestions on what tests I can use to quantify the apoptosis percentage in both the quiescent ( pha -ve) and proliferating ( PHA +ve) cells ? I've got the annexin test ( early apoptosis) and DNA fragmentation assay ( late apoptosis) so far, though the latter won't be able to quantify the apoptosis percentage specifically. I'm also considering nuclear morphology analysis but don't know the exact protocol. Will be much obliged to anyone who can help me out.
