I made two interactive Java applets that I would like to share. They show how to correct for pipette capacitance, series resistance etc. Basically, you can simulate an experiment from putting the pipette in the bath, to cell-attached and whole cell.

It's quite nice

I noticed however that in Patch Clamp I, adjusting the Rs compensation (Pred/Corr) did not improve the speed of the voltage clamp.

Thanks fraser for the feedback, I'll have a look at it. It has been 7 years since I looked at them so I have to dive in the code. Maybe a scaling factor, the dials have some effect.

Thank you Albert for sharing with us the patch clamp applets.
it did not work correctly on my Safari but on the with the explorer it works OK.
I like the applet very much.
