Hello,
Does anyone have the experience on this tube formation assay in 96-well plate? I just started to try HUV-EC-C cells on the assay by Chemicon Kit (Cat# ECM625). It worked well at first time. But, when repeating later, it did't work. I don't know what happened even I did it exactly the same way. Is it mostly possible the cells?
Thanks.

It might the BME itself. Matrigel, Cultrex, etc. are notorious for their lack of consistency from batch to batch. There are numerous companies out there with different angiogenesis assays that you might want to try out.

Glycosan BioSystems recently contacted me in regards to beta testing their anti-angiogenesis product. I didn't take them up on it, but they said their stuff is defined (so you wouldn't have consistenct issues). It is a beta product, but it's also free.
