Purpose of position:

This position will support the Discovery Program by developing, performing and troubleshooting biochemical, immunological and molecular based assays

Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare cell/tissue lysates/extracts
Develop/perform/troubleshoot multi-well biochemical/enzymatic assays
Perform/troubleshoot RT-PCR/genomic PCR
Develop/perform/troubleshoot ELISA/Western blot
Maintain thorough experimental records
Train/mentor junior laboratory staff

Education Level:

M.S. in a Life Science related field (Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular and Cell Biology, etc.)

Experience Required:

At least 2 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in addition to a solid understanding of biochemistry, molecular biology, assay development and troubleshooting.
