WIL Research Laboratories, LLC, is a successful, mid-size interdisciplinary non-clinical CRO, providing toxicology and related services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, veterinary and food product industries. WIL Research laboratories, LLC, is seeking a clinical veterinarian. WIL is an AAALAC-accredited, GLP Toxicology laboratory located in Ashland, OH. Positions includes IACUC membership, responsibility for the care and well being of all animals in vivarium, and assuring compliance with all regulations concerning animal care. Duties will include managing a modern, 200,000 square foot vivarium, overseeing animal health surveillance program, and continually refining the current laboratory animal medicine program. Development of new clinical procedures, as well as reviewing and improving current procedures is expected. Position also includes acting as adviser for occupational health and safety issues. Clinical veterinarians may also serve as technical advisors for studies requiring veterinary input at macroscopic examinations and necropsy. the successful candidate will possess a DVM from an accredited institution. Experience in laboratory animal medicine is a necessity, ACLAM diplomate desired, but not required. Special consideration will be given to highly motivated, board-eligible candidates.
