| Does anyone know of a good review article on CD30? Does it really correlate with immune activation or tolerance? |
CD30 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family expressed on type 1 and type 2 T helper cells. CD30 has a role in maintenance of tolerance for self-tolerance to occur. The CD30 signal would be necessary to limit the expansion of auto reactive T cells. CD30 signal interactions with CD8 positive cells have been studied and is part of a very complex system of self-tolerance. Please check Pub-Med site for recent articles.
