I have a natively unstructured protein of 12kDa which has a very high theoretical pI of 11.2. The 1st native PAGE trial was with normal Lammeli running buffer, just without the SDS or BME and reversing the electrodes. All the protein just stayed in the well. What would be the best buffer system for this type of PAGE?
