Hi,
I had troubles trying to get my base agar set (0.5% agarose/PBS), anyone has any idea? I'm using SeaPlaque low melting temperature agarose. How long does it usually take for the bottom agarose to set?

Many thanks in advance

You need to place the plates in a refrigerator/cold room for about 5-10 minutes to get them to set properly. At that concentration, agarose does not set properly at room temperature.
