We have Eppendorf 5840R centrifuge. you can use 15.ml tubes to 50 ml conical tubes as well as 96-well plates.

The Eppendorf5804R is excellent and very versatile - though on the flip side, we also spent a lot on it! If you are in the US or Europe, the IEC Centra 2L should suffice for most regular cell culture needs.

I have found a basic clinincal centrifuge is more than suffcient for cell culture if you are just spinning down a couple of tubes of cells at a time.

However if you want a good bench top that is very versatle, temperature controlled and can be used for a variety of functions like many samples, 96 well plates, 50/15ml falcons, 1.5ml eppendorfs, I reccomend the BeckmanCoulter Allegra 25R.
