This first meeting will be held in the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh, allowing close proximity to Scotlands growing biotech community, universities and research institutions.
The Lab-on-a-Chip World Congress is one of 3 co-located meetings centered on genomics and drug research. The others are AMT (Advances in Microarray Technology) and SEQNSYNTECH (Advances in Nucleic Acid Synthesis & Sequencing). Registration for this meeting will also permit access to the other conferences ensuring a very cost-effective trip.

Distinguished Speakers:
Jon Cooper, Head - Bioelectronics Research Centre, University of Glasgow / Andrew De Mello, Professor of Chemical Nanosciences, Imperial College / Andreas Manz, Head ISAS, Dortmund / Sabeth Verpoorte, Program Chair, Institute of Pharmacy, University Of Groningen / Andrew De Mello, Professor of Chemical Nanosciences, Imperial College / Craig Venter, Founder and President, J. Craig Venter Institute and the J. Craig Venter Science Foundation.

Agenda Topics:
Point-of-care diagnostics
Microfabrication/engineering
Life science applications

Make the most of your trip by attending the pre-conference training course presented by Nicole Pamme, Lecturer, Hull University:
Principles and Applications of Microfluidics in the Life Sciences - 14th May 2007 13:30-17:00.
