Background:
Our client is looking for an individual with solid leadership and management skills to assume the role of Director of Biochemistry. We are looking for someone who has the ability to bridge the medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry groups by utilizing solid communication skills. A background in biochemistry is essential, and experience with ADME/PK is a plus. This individual will direct efforts to establish, operate, and expand a program using the latest scientific and technological advances to understand the drug-target interactions, pharmacology, pharmacodynamics, the mode and site of action, structure/activity relationships, intramolecular and cellular dynamics, and ADME and physicochemical properties, which are applied to discover safe, effective and innovative pharmaceuticals for the human and animal health industry.
