Praxair's Research and Development division is currently seeking a Senior Development Associate for our Burr Ridge, IL facility.

You will be responsible developing, designing, and implementing new processes, technology, and equipment, from conception through initial commercialization, in a variety of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and food applications.

To qualify, you must have an MS/PhD degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, at least 5 years of process development experience and a thorough knowledge of major chemical and biological unit operations, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, mass and energy balances, process design and basic economic evaluation. Experience in scale-up, validation and FDA approval of process improvements is a plus.
