Postdoctoral Training Program

The Postdoctoral Training Program at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute was established to advance the careers of promising scholars who are interested in sharing our mission, which is "to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer." The program prepares candidates for independent research positions throughout the scientific community by encouraging independent thinking, publication, and grant writing within cutting-edge research facilities and a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is the only National Cancer Institute Designated Cancer Center in the state of Florida and one of only seven in the southeast. As a Comprehensive Cancer Center, our research enterprise offers training in numerous areas key in the fight against cancer. Postdoctoral researchers at Moffitt work under the guidance of outstanding faculty mentors in various aspects of cancer research, including: Molecular Oncology, Immunology, Drug Discovery, Experimental Therapeutics, Health Outcomes & Behavior, and Risk Assessment, Detection & Intervention.

For information on our postdoctoral training program, and to apply to our open positions online, please visit our website at www.moffitt.org.
