See if it is possible to start a large project here on this forum

Under behavior what would be the major catagories you would use? (limit to 5 and each must stand on its own) How would you phrase the behavior terminology under this first level.

e.g.

behavior
-instinct
-cognitive
-feeding
-reproductive

I suggest to start with 2 major categories of behavior:
1. Native
2. Experimentally-induced

OK, this is a good idea especially from a scientific standpoint. Now lets consider what major behavioral catagories would reside under

Native
what would be good major headings? e.g.

-instinctive
- cognitive

Well, I'm a novice here, but I'll give it a shot:

-instinctive (innate)
Survival
Mating/courtship

- cognitive
Learned skills that aid survival, like tool use, food cacheing
Ability to communicate across species
Complex thought and problem solving skills (like Fu Manchu, the ape that made tools to master his escape from the zoo).
