My laboratory is interested in purchasing automated ELISA system. Can anybody suggest any supplier? It will be used for running Collagen Binding Assays and PAI-1, thank you

There are a number of different platforms, and depending on your budget and workload, different ones will be better.
I have fairly extensive experience with a Spanish system, the Grifols Triturus (www.grifols.com). It is big in Asia, Australia and through Europe. The system can run up to 7 different assays on 4 plates, you can heat individual plates, use disposable tips or the robot's own tips (washed between each step, obviously). It's also a totally open system, so you can run an assay you like.

Dear Ireq,

I would also strongly recommend the Triturus System. It is very easy to use, reliable, flexible and time and cost efficient. You can have a look at the benefits listed below.
Their local distributor in Ireland is Fannin Ltd, http://www.fannin.ie/.

Time & Cost Efficiency
The preparation time is minimal thanks to its easy sample loading process and to its automated workload organization.
The processing speed is high due to its dual independent probes and multi-batch capability. Large cost savings can
be achieved with the use of fixed needles, since disposable tips are optional.
Reliability
Triturus® hardware and instrumentation are highly precise. Its software is very stable as a result of constant inhouse
development and the release of software upgrades. Diagnostic Self-Test, alarms, Quality Control program and
registry files all guarantee the correct status and functioning of the system as well as its verification.
Flexibility
Triturus® offers absolute freedom regarding the use of any reagent brand. The system adapts to the user needs
and to the different laboratory workloads thanks to its ability to perform several assays on a group of samples and
process several consecutive batches simultaneously.
Ease of Use
The software is very intuitive and self-explanatory. A logical interactive screen guides the user with clear
instructions. No calculation is required from the user, thus simplifying the complex processing of the laboratory
workload.
