Senior Research Associate #137R

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS
We are currently seeking a Sr. Research Associate for our Drug Repositioning and Selection (DRS) Program that is located in Cambridge MA. Our DRS program is focused on the identification of new development paths for failed, stalled, or de-prioritized clinical-stage drug candidates. Our unique, integrated multiple technologies platform permits us to assess hundreds of human disease therapeutic indications for specific drug candidates.

Responsibilities:

Cell biologist focused on assay development and low through-put compound screening to identify new and un-appreciated properties of small molecule drug


Requirements:

MS with 2+ years (or BS with 3+ years) laboratory experience in Biological Sciences
Strong background in cell based assay development
Demonstrated proficiency in the culture of a variety of cell lines (including primary cells)
Familiarity with multiple assay detection modalities, including high content cell imaging station (Cellomics or equivalent), fluorescence, luminescence, and colorimetric modalities
Experience working with small molecule drugs is preferable
An understanding of a high content cellular imaging approach to drug profiling
Strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, and in a team environment
Industry experience preferred but not required
