San Diego Chromatin Club

The next San Diego Chromatin Club takes place on January 31st, 2007 chaired by Dr. Steve Reed.. Free Registration Here !
This afternoon meeting will include four local speakers and one invited speaker from the East Coast. Registration is free so be sure to sign up.

Kevin Struhl (Harvard, Boston, MA): The chicken-and-egg relationship between transcription and chromatin and implications for epigenetic inheritance

* Jim Kadonaga (UCSD): Chromatin assembly and dynamics
* Kathy Jones (Salk): The Spt6 SH2 domain binds Ser2P RNAPII to link elongation with downstream events
* Joel Gottesfeld (TSRI): Chromatin therapeutics for neurological diseases: development of novel histone deacetylase inhibitors
