Fred Gage, The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, is the keynote speaker at the 3rd Stem Cell Research & Therapeutics conference to be held March 22-23, 2007 in San Diego, CA.

Dr. Gage has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, among them the 1993 Charles A. Dana Award for Pioneering Achievements in Health and Education, the Christopher Reeve Research Medal in 1997, the 1999 Max Planck Research Prize, and the MetLife Award in 2002.

The topic Dr. Gage will be presenting on is Adult Mammalian Neurogenesis.
