Can anyone please guide me on a good protocol for washing of Inclusion bodies to free them of membrane contaminant and without causing any loss of the desired protein in inclusion bodies. our protein is a cytokine expressed in inclusion bodies by thermal induction.

kindly help me on this.

Here are a couple of protocols for washing of inclusion bodies.

This protocol describes isolation and washing of the inclusion bodies. These protocols are adapted from those originally described by David Garboczi.

Hope these help.

These two protocols can be found in our protocol section under protein chemistry.
