Course Description
Progress continues to be made in the diagnosis and management of HIV infection and its complications. Although simpler drug combinations for HIV therapy have become available, choosing the optimal regimen in many cases remains complex. Therapy often is complicated by toxicity and the emergence of viral resistance; clinicians often must make decisions based on incomplete or conflicting data.

This advanced continuing medical education activity will provide participants with the latest information and practical guidance from nationally and internationally recognized AIDS experts on pathogenesis, resistance, and treatment of HIV infection and its complications, so that practitioners can deliver high quality care in all practice settings.
