The 5TH "INTERNATIONAL CANCER VACCINE SYMPOSIUM in Vienna, Austria to be held 12-14 April 2007, will be a completely scientific and educational symposium directed to understanding cancer vaccines and their role and use. It is jointly sponsored by the Austrian Academy of Sciences and Hasumi International Research Foundation (HIRF), a non-profit organization conducting and supporting research in cancer vaccines.
The Symposium topics will include current and future vaccine strategies, tumor surveillance, tolerance, a careful look at the types of antigens, types of vaccines (i.e., peptides, vectors, whole cell, and cellular fragments), novel cancer vaccine adjuvants, delivery systems and the latest in cancer vaccine clinical trials in most major cancer types as well as how cancer vaccine clinical trials are monitored and evaluated.
