The behavior of large biomoleculesproteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acidsin solution is complex and directly related to molecular size, shape, and flexibility; the analysis of hydrodynamic behavior thus provides important information about the structure, dynamics, and interactions of biomacromolecules.
