Desc: Research Fellow position is available for an individual with experience in computational biology/genomics, in the Department of Hematopoietic Stem Cell and Leukemia Research at the Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope. Projects involve investigation of regulatory mechanisms underlying abnormal growth of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in hematological malignancies, identification of molecular targets and evaluations of response to therapeutic interventions. The position requires experience in advanced analysis of data from microarray analysis of gene expression and genetic variations along with a solid background in cell and molecular biology. Knowledge of computer programming and statistics, and familiarity with biological databases is required. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
