I am a PHD student I liked to start some work related to stem cell like cells in C.elegans. If any one is working on stem cell based research in C.elegans, could you kindly mail me the literature you have regarding this topic and also protocols, and means of identifying (like markers) of stem cells in C.elegans. I am addressing a question of transdifferentiation event of a particular cell during the development of the worm.

Thank you in advance for your help and reply.

Jai

Germline stem cells and tumorigenesis in C. elegans are studied by a number of labs, Judith Kimble, Cynthia Kenyon, J Rothman to name a few. The papers from these lab may provide you with markers.
