Duties:

Perform basic cellular and molecular immunobiology laboratory techniques including SDS PAGE, northern, southern and Western analysis, ELISA, PCR and RT-PCR, differential display, gene transcription/translation, tissue culture (both of primary and established cell lines), flow-cytometry to detect expression of gene product.

Initiate bulk culture of Ebola and Marburg viruses in variety of cells.

Measure cytokines and other immune regulators by cellular and molecular techniques.

Vaccinate animals by various delivery methods and analyze various immune cells by cell-surface staining and flow-cytometry.

Write and edit standard operating procedures as required.
