JOB DESCRIPTION: For the Dept of Math, Physics, & Computer Science at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP). The Dept, located in state of the art facilities in the new McNeil Science & Technology Center along with the Dept of Biological Sciences, is in the process of investigating the development of new programs in biophysics/materials science & in applied math & statistics. USP is a private university with an enrollment of 2,600 undergrad & grad students, with programs in the natural sciences, pharmacy, other health rel areas, social sciences & humanities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. in Physics with a background or expertise in biophysics or condensed matter physics; demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergrad teaching, to initiating a research program, & to involving undergrad students in research req.
