"The conference will focus on the latest scientific breakthroughs in the field of genetics, their practical application to clinical practice (including molecular diagnostics, clinical diagnosis and management and public health). As with previous meetings the strong representation from researchers and the biotechnology industry will serve to highlight advances in the field that can be directly applied in the research and clinical arenas. Additional sessions planned will include a public forum and sessions on ethics and the public health implications of advances in human genetics."
