Hi guys. Am doc from UK. Have question regarding psoriatic arthritis. Psoriasis noted to be a Th1 dominant disorder so would expect down regulation of Th1 to have therapeutic effect. This, however, may depend on why Th1 is dominant - i.e if an insufficient attempt by the body to mount an immune response against a pathogen then surely up regulation of Th1 would be the way to go......this would hopefully rid the pathogen, and the immune system could subsequently stop reacting, returning to balance. Comments? Kind regards, Tim
