Hi guys. Am doc from UK. Have question regarding psoriatic arthritis. Psoriasis noted to be a Th1 dominant disorder so would expect down regulation of Th1 to have therapeutic effect. This, however, may depend on why Th1 is dominant - i.e if an insufficient attempt by the body to mount an immune response against a pathogen then surely up regulation of Th1 would be the way to go......this would hopefully rid the pathogen, and the immune system could subsequently stop reacting, returning to balance.
