Does anybody know of a good set of web-based phylogenetic tools? Currently, I just want to view a newick-formatted tree as a cladogram. I have yet to find a tool that will do this for me.

Thanks.

Ryan

Phylodendron should do what you want.

Great one-stop shopping for all sorts of web-based bioinformatic and phylogenetic applications can be found on the Pasteur Institute site:

http://bioweb.pasteur.fr/intro-uk.html

To view your tree, you can pump your newick file into their implementation of drawgram:

-hope that helps,
Satish

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I think I have used this tool before but I was never able to find it again (mainly because I forgot its name). At least the link will be here permanently now.
