Dear All,

Im looking for 3D structure of monoclonal antibody raised against amyloid protein abeta(1-42). Hope anyone of you can help me in getting the structure.

Thanks.

Regards

Raj

Hi Raj,

I just did a query at www.rcsb.org, which is the central repository for all 3D protein structures determined by X-ray crystallography, NMR and even modelling. It does not look like such a structure exists. If by structure you mean sequence, i.e primary structure, it should be easy enought to find in a sequence database although they do not always determine/publish antibody sequences.

Raj,

perhaps it would be useful for you to consult with Dr. Ron Wetzel at the Department of Structural Biology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I have heard that he has this antibody and may be interested in obtaining the crystal structure for it.
