Hi!! I'd like to know if there is someone doing the BSM in big proteins. I'm having problems to solubilize my protein after the acetone precipitation, even in presence of 1% SDS. Is there someone using n-propanol to improve the solubilization ?

Have you tried a different method of precipitation (e.g. salt-induced)? I believe that getting a protein back into solution after acetone precipitation is quite a common problem.
