Does anyone know if nerve cells express proteoglycans? I m working on a proteoglycan review article.

Yes. Nerve cells express proteoglycans: Purkinje cells, for example express mimecan and chondroadherin, two small leucine-rich proteoglycans. Reference: 1. Tasheva ES, Ke A, Conrad GW.
