Hi friends,

I need help with membrane protein quantification. I already use a  Kit for protein quantification, but membrane proteins are insoluble. So, I am not sure how to quanitify it using the same kit.

I wanna know whether boiling the protein in NaOH might help?

Hi hermione,

Two questions:
1) What kind of buffer is your membrane proteins stored in?
2) What kind of kit you are using right now?
