WALK - IN – INTERVIEW

A walk-in-interview will be held on 19th May, 2012 at 11.00 a.m. at Biotech Park Office, Sector G, Jankipuram, Kursi Road, Lucknow (U.P.) Indiafor the following post. Interested candidates meeting the requisite qualifications, experience and age on the date of interview may appear before the Selection Committee. The selected candidate will have to join immediately.
 

1. Scientist ‘C’ (ONE POST)

Educational Qualification: Ist class M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Analytical Chemistry/ Biotechnology / M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with 5 years experience or Ph.D. with two years experience.
 

Desirable: Experience in a biological research institution / laboratory in the area of analysis of chemical and biological constituents, maintenance of the equipments used in chemical and biological analysis, quality control procedures and supervision of staff.


Job requirement: To supervise the maintenance of the various facilities set up at the Biotech Park, training programmes and other scientific tasks assigned. Person having experience of NABL/GLP will be preferred.
 

Emoluments: Rs. 26000/- per month fixed.

Age: Up to 50 years (as on the last date of receipt of application).
 

General Conditions:

1. The aforesaid position is purely temporary and do not give the incumbent any right whatsoever for appointment on regular basis.
2. The applicant will have to submit typed and duly signed application on plain paper on the day of interview stating:

1. Applications must be accompanied by a latest passport size photograph and attested copies of certificates
2. Original certificates/degree and testimonials should be produced by the candidate for verification at the time of interview. Tentative mark sheets /certificates and result awaited will not be considered.
3. Tenure: Initially for one year subject to extendable on yearly basis on satisfactory performance till the duration of the project. Selected candidate will have to join immediately.
4. The upper age limit can be relaxed as per the Government of India rules in the case of applicant belonging to SC/ST/Physically handicapped and OBCs.
5. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time at the venue on the date of interview to complete necessary formalities.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
7. Those employed in Govt. Deptt./ Autonomous Bodies should submit their application through proper channel or with no ‘No Objection Certificate’.
8. Relaxation of age limit, qualification and/or experience in case of deserving candidate may be allowed with the prior approval of competent authority.
9. Mere fulfillment of minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the institute in this regard will be final.

Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated disqualification for the post.
