Just to improve the number of posts and replies, I would suggest to facilitate the access to the latest posts by introducing a specific button. This will permit the user to see ALL the latest posts, regardless the type of topic. The keyword access suggested by Tadpole is great too. I agree with him that this could really improve the level of interactive discourse on the site as a whole.

I look at the RSS feed to accomplish this. On my Safari Browser this is matter of simply clicking on the RSS button once I've visted the site.
