  Hi,
I will study sodium-iodide smyporter which is a 77kDa transmembran protein. I will use western blot to show the changes in protein expression. Since it has 13 transmembrane domain, i can't decide which lysis buffer i should use. Have any ideas/suggestions???

Not: my material will be cell line and tissue.

Dear Tisana86

you can use the following buffer for lysis of cell

7.5M urea

2.5M thiourea
12.5% glycerol
50mM Tris
2.5% n-octylglucoside
6.25mM TCEP(Tris-(carboxyethyl)phosphine hydrochloride) 
1.25mM of protease inhibitor in water solution.
