Good Afternoon,

I am hoping to start culturing a new human prostate cell line (MDA-PCa-2B) that is a bit troublesome in culture. ATCC suggests making an alternative media that contains a laundry list of items including bovine insulin. I am currently having a hard time getting bovine insulin from our local supplies and was wondeirng if anyone knows of a good substitution. Can i substitute insulin from another species?
